As an environmentally conscious company, we are increasing our use of natural fertilizers. We find that these fertilizers help produce a healthier turf, which in turn results in a higher quality product. We have greatly minimized the amount of phosphates by incorporating natural nutrients.
The fertilizer that we sell is the same as the one we use in our sod production and maintenance. Since switching entirely over to 100% Elite Kentucky Bluegrass, Valley Nursery Sod has seen a reduction in herbicide usage.
